Engram latest to want a new contract
Written by Paul Raymond in Tuesday, May 6th 2008
Seattle Seahawks wide receiver, Bobby Engram, is the latest NFL player to want a new contract. Engram is currently making $1.7 million for the 2007, while fellow WR Deion Branch is making $3.5 mil and going to miss part of the 2008 season with an ACL injury. Engram led the 'Hawks last year with 94 catches, 1147 yards and 6 touchdowns. I'd say numbers like that are worth some more money, especially [+]

Written by Paul Raymond in Monday, April 14th 2008
The Denver Broncos are busy bolstering their wide receiving corps this week, by signing Samie Parker and Darrell Jackson. The team inked Parker to a deal today and according to Adam Schefter of NFL Network, should sign Jackson sometime on Tuesday.
Parker, a former Kansas City Chiefs, provides some valuable depth should Brandon Marshall struggle in his recovery from his recent arm injury. Parker is still only 27 years old, but did miss almost [+]
Mare signs with Seahawks
Written by Paul Raymond in Thursday, March 27th 2008
This is an update to a post I made just a couple hours ago. So much for my thinking of Olindo Mare signing with the Denver Broncos. Mare signed a deal with the Seattle Seahawks this evening. What did come down to, money of course. Mare got a 2-year $3.5 million deal from the 'Hawks, so this means Denver must of been outbid since he really liked their deal too. [+]

Rumor has been running wild this afternoon that the Seattle Seahawks would be announcing the release of former Pro-Bowl RB Shaun Alexander. The reason for the rumor, an email from the 'Hawks that there would be a 3:30pm EST press conference attended by Mike Holmgren and Tim Ruskell (both said to be unavailable for anything till after the NFL Draft. This would lead and did lead many to believe to the release of [+]

Seattle Hackett heads to free agency.
Written by Paul Raymond in Monday, February 25th 2008
Looks like there is no doubt that Seattle Seahawks wide receiver DJ Hackett becomes an unrestricted free agent Friday. And its pretty likely that he won't be playing in Seattle next season. Hackett's agent Kevin Robinson and Seahawks GM Tim Ruskell had a meeting recently at the NFL Scouting Combine which didn't go to well. Robinson left that meeting pretty discouraged about the lack of commitment the team has to their former [+]More From NFL
