Pacers finally move ONeal

After months of trying Larry Bird and the Indiana Pacers have done the unthinkable, they found a taker for Jermaine O’Neal. And surprisingly it appears they came out as the winners in the deal. The Pacers and Toronto Raptors started off the 24-hour period leading up to tomorrows NBA Draft in a big way. The deal calls for the Raptors to get O’Neal, while the Pacers land TJ Ford, Rasho Nesterovic, a player to be named later and the 17th pick. Bucks players drawing interest

According to the Racine Journal-Times, the Milwaukee Bucks are looking to make some serious splashes this off-season. Three of the teams marquee players are all said to be on the shopping block, Charlie Villanueva, Mo Williams and Michael Redd. The team is looking to trade up in the draft, free up some cap room, and just make the team better overall. Read more

O’Neal keeping the pace

Jermaine O’Neal has decided against opting out of his current contract, and therefore will stay with the Indiana Pacers. O’Neal currently has 2-years and $44 million left on his contract, but still had an opt-out clause worked in. He had till June 30th to decide if he wanted to become a free agency, but he wasted no time saying he wanted to be a Pacer. Or did he? Read more

There is speculation today that the Cleveland Cavaliers are considering a trade with the Milwaukee Bucks, to acquire Michael Redd.
