No Morrow in rotation after all

Mariners, Reitsma still at odds

The Seattle Mariners and Chris Reitsma are still at odds. Reitsma is still not willing to accept his assignment to AAA-Tacoma. On the other side, the Mariners still aren't willing to give him his release like he wants. The team holds all the chips in this battle and its very unlikely for Reitsma to get his way.

Rays looking to make a trade

The Tampa Bay Rays are actively searching for an additional outfielder, be it via trade or free agency. The Rays strength right now is their young pitching and with that being said, the Rays are willing to deal Edwin Jackson or Jason Hammel if need be.
