So much for Toronto Blue Jay's 3B Scott Rolen only missing about the first week or so of the season. The injury is still a non-displaced fracture in the right middle finger, but the bone was broken enough to where surgery was required. Now that the Toronto Blue Jays have released OF Reed Johnson, their is a group of teams that are showing interest. Currently, Johnson is on waivers so not technically able to sign with any team. It's fully expected that he clears thou as his current contract calls for him to make $3.275 million. Fairly steep for a back-up platoon outfielder. Toronto Blue Jays 3B Scott Rolen suffered a non-displaced fracture of the bone in the tip of his right middle finger, in addition to ripping off the fingernail.
