Welcome back to my readers, I know its been a while since I’ve posted for you guys. Lot of stuff has gone on the past month and a half, mainly business, the real full time job. I was away on a business trip and had minimal time to talk about the rumors, let alone watch much sports. Believe me it was tough, especially since I could only find time to watch one of the many New York Yankees nationally televised games during that time.

But I’m back now and we’ll be getting back to talking sports, daily. To start thou I’lll throw out some links for you guys to check out.

Is Danica Wearing Pants?

Last night the hot Danica Patrick was a guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live on ABC, and I have to say the outfit was a great choice. It left Kimmel wondering if she was wearing a shirt or skirt, and if she should have pants on. Made for an interesting conversation. Take a look.

Indy Racing Comes to VERSUS

While I’m not a fan of the IndyCar Series I think I should let those of you who are about some exciting news regarding the series. The VERSUS Network is going to be airing over 130 hours of IndyCar coverage this year, that is an astonishing number. They’ll be showing a MINIMUM of seven hours a week. Those of you who love open wheel racing will surely enjoy this. The coverage has actually already started over on Versus.

During the month of March they’ve been showing specials to get the fans excited. And VERSUS knows sex sells so the very first special was Danica: Five Years Running. I’ll have to start checking the television schedule to see when this is replayed.

“IndyCar fans have been asking for significantly more coverage of the sport and with our new partnership with VERSUS we have responded to our fans in a way that we think they will love,” said Charlie Morgan, president and chief operating officer for IMS Productions. “With the new VERSUS schedule it will be a weekend of IndyCar programming with Qualifying coverage, expanded race day coverage, and race encores. With so many great drivers, teams and sponsors, the time is right for expanded programming.”

The specials are nice but lets get to the racing!!! Starting on April 5th, VERSUS will be in St. Petersburg covering the season opener. The station will be air 12 live events this year, with a minimum of three hours of coverage each race. In addition to that, the night before the race they’ll have a one hour, pre-race show. You can also expect encore performances of every race to be aired on Monday nights. So if you like both Indy and NASCAR, you could watch the stock cars live then Monday night catch the Indy boys. Perfect scenario for racing fans.
