Chicago Bears wide receiver Brandon Marshall is a pretty banged up guy for it being so early in the season. He came into the season with worries about his hip and now we’ve heard that he had to leave practice today with a back injury. The injury is being described as a “tight” back and that there is “hope” that he’ll be fine.

This sounds like one of those nagging day to day injuries which could make him a game-time decision and that’s only if the back continues to tighten up and stays that way. The Bears likely won’t update his status till Friday afternoon.
I fully expect him to be starting Sunday night against a very tough Pittsburgh Steelers defense that currently ranks 6th against the pass, they’re giving up only 202.5 yards per game in the air. Marshall though has caught 15 passes for 217 yards an two touchdowns, so something’s got to give.
