Sharrif Floyd has surgery, should be ready for opener
Minnesota Vikings rookie Sharrif Floyd injured his left knee during the teams first preseason game. Luckily for both the injury wound up not being too serious. Initial MRI’s showed no structural damage to his knee but he was still having issues with the knee so he had his knee scoped. Today we heard that things went well and he should be ready to go by the teams opener.

The missed practice time won’t be a huge deal as Floyd wasn’t being looked at as a starter, yet. He was going to start the season as the teams first defensive tackle off the bench.
