Brian Wilson to return this weekend

Looks like Brian Wilson really is ready to pitch in the big leagues again. He’s only made three appearances so far, two at Triple A, Albuquerque but has been perfect in all three innings. If all goes well this week he could join the Los Angeles Dodgers bullpen this weekend where he’ll be the setup man for closer, Kenley Jansen.

Wilson is scheduled to make another appearance on Tuesday and is eligible to come off the disabled list on Wednesday, but the club wants to see how his surgically repaired elbow responds to pitching on consecutive days.

If all goes well, he could join the Dodgers during their seven-game road trip, which begins on Friday. (MLB.com)

The Dodgers bullpen is now looking tough to beat which is a scary thing. Since a horrendous start the Dodgers have been one of the best teams in baseball with and now are tied for the sixth best record in baseball. All National League teams better watch out.
