Mavericks officially sign Devin Harris
After about a month the Dallas Mavericks have finally signed free agent guard Devin Harris. The team initially signed him to a three year, $9 million contract but things fell apart when he failed a physical. The deal was initially called off because of a dislocated toe that needed surgery. ESPN reports now that the deal is for the veterans minimum.
Harris, 30, signed a one-year deal for the veteran’s minimum of $1.3 million. Earlier this month, the sides mutually agreed to pull a three-year, $9 million offer off the table when Harris’ pre-signing physical screening revealed that he had a dislocated toe that required surgery.(ESPN)
