Erik Bedard drawing trade interest

The Houston Astros have a record of 35-68 but yet their players are drawing a lot of interest from contending teams. We’ve talked about Bud Norris and Jose Veras but now words come out that Erik Bedard is also drawing interest. Bedard has had a relatively nice season and could solidify the back end of a contenders rotation.

Bedard has an ERA of 4.28 and a record of 3-8 but has struck out just under one batter per inning. If you take the month of April out of the picture and his numbers look a lot better as he had two horrendous starts. Since the month of May started he’s got an ERA of 3.67 which is pretty solid for an American League pitcher.

I’m sure it wouldn’t cose much to get Bedard, probably just a mid-level prospect.
