Cavs & Casspi to part ways?

Marc Stein of ESPN is reporting that the Cleveland Cavaliers and Omri Casspi are in buyout talks. Casspi has been sparingly used in 2012, averaging only 11.5 minutes per game. He’s also currently out due to an appendectomy, there’s no timetable for his return.

A buyout would probably be in everyone’s best interest as Casspi doesn’t look to be in the Cavs current or future plans. Casspi should find a home quickly once he’s healthy as the Houston Rockets were showing interest prior to the trade deadline.
