Kiwi fires back at Jerry

With less then a week to go to the season opener one member of the New York Giants decided it was time to step up and fire back at Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones. Mathias Kiwanuka was on the Boomer and Carton show on WFAN and his comments came after they played him Jerry’s comment, “Y’all should come to that (Cowboys) stadium and watch us beat the Giants’ ass.” Here’s his response.

“He should,” Kiwanuka said on WFAN’s “Boomer and Carton” show after listening to the tape. “I mean, the Giants have been whupping his a** for a long time.”

The normally soft-spoken linebacker wasn’t done, either.

“It’s gotta be tough, on the outside looking in on all of these championships lately,” he said. “That’s the feeling I feel like everybody in the league has and everybody should have, because we’re here on top and everybody should be wanting to knock you off.” (NY Daily News)

I’m not going to lie I’m kind of disappointed in the response. When I first saw that Kiwanuka commented back I was expecting something good. Something like Osi and LeSean McCoys twitter feud last year. Unfortunately that’s not the case, Kiwi took the politically correct role and basically said that’s how every team should feel.

Regardless it’s nice to hear someone say something it’s been pretty quiet in Giants camp this year.
