VIDEO: Stanton with an unbelievable catch

Miami Marlins outfielder Giancarlo Stanton made one pretty unbelievable catch against the Philadelphia Phillies. The new Phillies sensation Erik Kratz hit a shot to right center field that looked like it was easily going to hit the gap for extra bases but Stanton had other ideas.

What makes this catch so great is the amount of ground Stanton had to cover. If you look at where he set up in right, he looked like he was playing a little more shallow then normal and shaded toward the line. He was able to get all the way to deep right center and make a stumbling, diving catch. That’s ground you normally wouldn’t see a centerfielder in a park that plays 410 straight away make.

Nice job, Giancarlo. Nice job.
