Bryzgalov heading to Russia?

The Philadelphia Daily News is reporting that Flyers goalie Ilya Bryzgalov would head home to Russia should the NHL lock the players out. The lockout is almost a certainty so get ready to see Bryz wearing the jersey of a KHL team even though he can’t totally admit it yet.

SS: If there is a lockout, would all players go to Russia?

Bryzgalov: “I will. But I wouldn’t talk for everyone. Some players like Switzerland, Germany… I cannot make any decisions about the KHL myself until September 15. The lockout won’t be announced until that day. So I have a contract with Philadelphia.” (Philadelphia Daily News)

For Flyers fans the lockout could be a blessing in disguise. Just maybe Bryz can go home, play against his fellow countrymen and get his head straight.

Lockout is a certainty? What are you basing that statement on? You have no idea what you’re talking about.

I bet you your worthless job there wont be a lockout.
