Oklahoma City Thunder point guard Russell Westbrook had a horrendous night against the Memphis Grizzlies. Westbrook went 0-13 from the floor with only six assists while turning over the ball four times and committing three fouls. Things got so bad that he snapped on his teammate Thabo Sefolosha and then later got into an altercation with the teams star Kevin Durant. Some reports have said the two needed to be separated during a timeout when Durant tried to calm Westbrook down. After the game Durant played things off like it wasn’t too serious.
“We’re going to disagree sometimes, like I’ve always been saying,” Durant said. “But I’m behind him 110 percent, and he’s the same way with me. And you seen when we came on the floor we clicked and everything started to work from there.” (NewsOk)
Durant also downplayed the whole situation during an interview on NBATV. He pretty much says they’re two young guys who work hard and just need to work together.
