The Minnesota Vikings are looking for some running back depth for Week 17 with Adrian Peterson out. That search took them to the San Diego Chargers practice squad where they signed rookie Jordan Todman. Todman was the star running back for UCONN during the 2010 NCAA season, unfortunately he hasn’t seen game action in 2011.
The Minnesota Vikings have added rookie running back Jordan Todman to their 53-man roster, getting him off the Chargers practice squad.
Todman was the first of two sixth-round draft picks by the Chargers in 2011. He spent the first five games of the season inactive and then was released and signed to the practice squad. (San Diego Union-Tribune)
I’ve been waiting for Todman to get some game action as I think he could be a solid change of pace back in the NFL. He might finally get a chance with Peterson out for Week 17 and part of the 2012 season.
