Tebow Got Tebowed

Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow has started the new crazy that has made many forget about planking. That’s right planking is a thing in the past, it’s now all about tebowing. Unfortunately, Tebow probably didn’t think opposing defenses would join in as well which is what Detroit Lions Steven Tullock did after sacking Tim today.

Tebow does it to himself, he makes himself a target. I think he can handle it, but he can also expect 9 more weeks of the same treatment.
Everybody hates on Tebow cause he was a star in college. Now that he is away from Florida, people are gonna assume he cant handle it. Yes, he is gonna make mistakes. But that desnt mean people have to hate.
Tebow is a JOKE!!! Get off his jock and put him on the bench where he belongs. Anybody with a little football knowledge knows THIS! LIONS tore him up. Plus he looked like a high school quarter back out there. I think the lions just ran back another PICK 6 just now…LMAO!!!
Pathetic. Absolutly no class. So much hate and mostly from people who could not play in the NFL even if they wanted to. Sooner or later, what goes around comes around. The lions are enjoying it now,and that is good, but It won’t last. Sooner or later, next year, or the year after that, they will end up just like they have been for the last 10 years. A losing team. They don’t have the money to support a team for that long.
“Yeah that’s beautiful”. Right. While I’m not much of a fan of players/coaches giving glory to God after a win (as if God turned a deaf ear to the losers)or such things, I’m not impressed with others attempting to mock him. And that’s especially true of the Lions. they’re playing very well this year, for thev first time in about 2 decades. all of a sudden they’re mocking opponents? What class!
Tim has more class than to let anyone bother him and those who mock his religous sign of thanks . To the haters out there, Tony Romo looked like a freshman in high school tonight and I remember when Elway was just as green as Tim but it seems he has forgotten all of his losses when he began. How about getting some decent offense and defense and put the blame where it really belomgs. Hang in there Tim. There are plenty of us that are wishing you much success.
It’s not “hating” to criticize a professional who’s making millions of dollars to play a game, and does it poorly. Some people love their team, and when they see their entire season go down the tubes because a particular player is not doing the job he’s being paid for, it annoys them. Plus, Tebow brings a lot of this on himself by putting his religion out front. He is anti-Jew, anti-Muslim, and anti-everyone but evangelical Christian. I would say the hatred comes from his “holier than thou attitude” and the fact that he thinks he’s favored by God over everyone else.

Seems like you are a moron. If he were a muslim fasting then you would respect his commitment. The reason you make such ignorant comments is your own sense of condemnation. Tebow will be successful, and he is a fantastic example of Christian love and commitment. There are better and much more obvious examples of hatred displayed in the religion of terrorists. Tebow is the man!
Everyone is a critic when it comes to something they don’t like. I don’t know if all the viewers remember Mohammed Ali whose religion was Muslim. He was a marked man for ridicule because he would boast about winning and credited his leader. I remember when television would show teams kneeling down to pray before and after a game. What happened? Is it that offensive or is it that boring?
I’m curious;I didn’t see the game. Was Tullock penalized for taunting? He certainly should have been. Ray Rice was, simply for being excited after a good run. The referees should put an end to “Tebowing” on the field immediately,with 15-yard penalties – shame on them if they do not!
Tim Tebow is an outstanding person.He is maybe not the best q/back. SO WHAT! He won the Heisman in college I think that speaks volumes.Give the guy a BREAK!!!
I just want to comment on some of the comments that I have read on here so far…I mean I think some of us who just take things to personally, or make personal assessments on such a general topic. I feel that in sports emotions are a part of the game-albeit I do think atheletes may get a bit caught up in some of their own antics. I like for it to remain about the sport or the game, I do not care for much show boating or taunting at all. I do not think what Tim Tebow does represents show boating or taunting. I feel that it is he way of showing and giving honor to a GOD that has been such a big part of his life. I appreciate this display from him-especially since I do not feel it is about him trying to degrade or embarass anyone in doing so. Everyone should not put such and emphasis on things that are so meaningless-and remember that it is just a game.
Tebow Sucks truley really just cuz he was college footballs hero doesnt mean he should of got taken in the first round, he would just have been a normal guy if he was taken in the third but now hes expected to produce like a first rounder but he sucks really, he better off at tight end…
No need to protect Tebow. Brady Quinn should have came in after Kyle Ortin any way. Brady was 2nd on the depth chart. Tebow is not ready for the game speed and quickness. By the way, he was not the first to bow down a pray after a successful play. He does not own it. Shut the FU and about hating Tebow. Today in his career, he sucks. Get over it. Fans can say what they want, when they want. You want it stop then Tebow needs to learn how to play QB and it will stop. Terry Bradshaw and other HOF went thru the boo birds and suck birds and Tebow will too.
