Week 2 was a very good week for me as I went 13-3 with my picks but sadly I’m disappointed with that outcome. I missed on my upset picks, damn Oakland Raiders. I took Baltimore, how the hell they lost I don’t know. And my other loss was the Philadelphia Eagles, a pick I’m still kicking myself about as I felt an upset could happen there. (note to self: sometimes just go with your gut)
This weeks picks were a little tougher, so if I can go 13-3 again I’ll be happy regardless what games I lose.
As always home teams in caps.

- Not sure if this can be considered an upset since both the Niners and Bengals sucks but Cincinnati is definitely favored in this one but I do think San Fran pulls this one out.
- Not much to say with my lock of the week but it’s become very easy to pick against the Colts with Peyton out.
- This will be the week Cam Newton gets his first win. Jacksonville may be 1-1 but they can’t score which means they won’t be able to keep up with the Newton led Panthers offense.
- This is another week where I’m not sure if I should pick the Eagles but I’m going too. It’s going to be just like every other Eagles / Giants game hard fought and down to the wire, despite all the injuries to Big Blue. It’s going to be a great one to watch. Got your popcorn ready?
- Saints / Texans will be a shootout on the Superdome turf. With how the Saints play at home I’d expect Drew Brees to pull out the win late.
- A lot of people are picking Buffalo to win after their hot start. My question is have they seen the Patriots this year? They’ve been hotter and against better competition. The Bills offense will do enough to say that they can be a playoff contender but not nearly enough to keep up with a Tom Brady offense.
- Rams will lose again and a team many were high on in the NFC West will now be 0-3.
- Atlanta goes on the road and loses a key divisional game against the Bucs. I think this will be the trend with them this year road losses, home wins.
- Tony Romo gets shot up and leads the Cowboys to another late win over the first place Redskins.
