The Oakland Raiders are wasting no time in seeing what supplemental draft pick Terrelle Pryor has to offer. Pryor signed with the team Thursday, practiced for the first time Friday and now according to ProFootball Talk he’ll get some game action before the preseason ends. Profootball Talk reports that he won’t appear in tonight’s game against the New Orleans Saints but he’ll play Thursday against the Seattle Seahawks.
Rookie quarterback Terrelle Pryor, who is suited up in silver and black game gear for the first game, won’t play on Sunday night against the Saints, on NBC.
But Michele Tafoya of Sunday Night Football reports that Pryor will play on Thursday night, when the Raiders wrap up the preseason against the Seahawks. (Profootball Talk)
The Raiders had to rush him into game action as they need to see what he’s got to offer as he has that five game suspension starting soon. Five weeks that he’ll be away from the team and not allowed to practice with the team.

So how has he looked so far?
During his first practice on Friday he looked like what we all expected, a work in progress. Raiders head coach Hue Jackson came out of the practice thou saying the kid looks like a quarterback and that’s where he’ll start. “The guy is big, athletic,” Jackson said. “He can throw it. He looks like a quarterback, feels like a quarterback, sounds like a quarterback, and I’m very excited to work with him.” (per Oakland Tribune)
He made completed four of nine passes, with three of those being passes behind the line of scrimmage. He attempted one deep bomb which was underthrown and behind the receiver but was still caught thanks to the talents of Chad Jackson.
