When Does Stephen Curry Return?

After just a few days, I have to say that Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry has had a rough week. Curry’s been fighting an ankle injury since the preseason and what does he do? Repeatedly aggravates the injury over the first week including an almost near break at the hands of Los Angeles Clippers guard Eric Gordon.

First here’s the video of Gordon’s crossover on Curry. In my opinion, it was the highlight and lowlight of the weekend. Filthy stuff, absolutely filthy.

Ok, if you watch the video closely you’ll see that Gordon’s crossover was nasty BUT the injury was really caused by Blake Griffin. Curry’s right foot slid over the top Griffins foot which caused the rolling of the ankle. Regardless it was a pretty nasty injury as you see Stephen laying on the ground for a bit.

So with the way he was laying there, you’d really thought he would of broken his ankle. Thankfully he didn’t just really aggravated the injury. With how many times he’s aggravated the ankle you would think the team would give him some time to fully heal, right? Nope.

Comcast SportsNet in the Bay Area reports that Curry should return on Wednesday against the Memphis Grizzlies.

I’m not sure if that’s a great idea or not but Curry does give Golden State their chance at winning.
