Haynesworth On The Move?

NFL.com’s Jason La Canfora has brought up Washington Redskins defensive lineman Albert Haynesworth as a possible trade candidate today, the NFL deadline. My thinking is really, that’s not much of a shock as his name has been mentioned in talks since last spring.

@JasonLaCanfora: Talking to team execs, don’t get the sense there will be much activity ahead of the deadline. Haynesworth is one name that comes up, but…

@JasonLaCanfora: mostly trade talk focused on lower-tier depth players.

So really what happened here is La Canfora threw Albert’s name out there but then shuts the rumor right down. So really what was the point of the tweets? Basically, it sounds like every NFL trade deadline, the possibility of a big name being moved but usually not much.

Personally, I don’t think there is a chance in hell that Albert gets moved. Coach Mike Shanahan has said in the past and continues to say there’s “a pretty good chance” he’ll remain a Redskin. And it makes total sense, the Redskins have not moved him after six months of drama why will they now?

They won’t its that simple.
