Now it’s time for some quick thoughts.
New Orleans Saints – They’re still number one for the sole reason they’re Super Bowl Champions and still undefeated. If they continue to play like they have thou they’ll start slipping.
NFC West – In my mind this is by far the worst division in football. The Rams are young and have shown promise. The 49ers can’t hold on to the ball and won’t win till they learn how to. The Cardinals well they really miss Kurt Warner. And the Seahawks, well I just don’t like them.
NFC East – This is still a strong division but everyone is searching for answers right now. The Giants and Eagles have chances to be very successful if they play their games. For the Eagles that would mean playing Michael Vick. For the Giants, they need to play their game smash mouth football not play to their opponents style like they did Sunday. Now the Cowboys well if they lose this week, their season is over.
Kansas City and Tampa Bay – These are two of the teams I expected to be in the bottom of the NFL. Instead, they’re both 2-0 are they for real? Every year we have one bottom feeder who improves enough to make a playoff run, will it be one of these two teams? If I had to pick, I’d go with the Chiefs making that playoff run.
Carolina – Pitiful, I think that’s a good word for them don’t you? Most people figured they’d compete for a playoff spot just cause they always do, especially with their dynamic rushing duo. Me, I expected a season more along the lines of 6-10 but being this bad, I definitely didn’t expect. I’m starting to really think they’ll be playing for that number one draft pick.
The game I’m looking forward to the most this week is the Miami Dolphins and New York Jets, as they play for top spot in what’s currently the best division in football.
