The following is a post sent to me by Doron Kutash. Doron is a major fan of Cleveland sports and has written for us before here at My Sports Rumors. His last article was Too Little too Late for the Tribe?
Brady’s Leap by Doron Kutash
No player has had as much anticipation around his arrival in Cleveland since the rebirth. This is it. What we’ve all been waiting for. The one and only, Brady Quinn.
He has been the fan favorite since that fateful draft day that now leaves Cleveland with the next “great one”.
Remember when Drew Bledsoe was injured in New England. Drew Bledsoe had a great career up to that point, but it was that fantastic injury that would leave the most important job opening, one that would be filled by potentially the greatest quarterback of all time. Tom Brady is his name. Maybe it’s in the name.
Brady starts in week 4 for a Cleveland Browns team that is 0-3, with playoff hopes slowly fading away game by game. He bears the weight of the world on his shoulders, the pressure, and the largest fan club in the world, which includes the famed Cleveland Browns Backers.
Brady is the man, “the chosen one, Cleveland’s messiah”. Brady has the shoulders of a Greek god, in which to carry the weight of the world.
Brady has the charisma to deal with the media, and cope with everything that comes at him. Who couldn’t like the kid, the kid who becomes “the man” this fateful Sunday against the Bengals.
The game is “do or die”, the Cleveland Brady Quinn’s will most certainly “do”.
Like I said can’t you tell he’s an avid Cleveland fan? Hopefully for him the Brady Quinn era brings joy the Dawg Pound. They could definitely use it. As a Notre Dame fan, I would definitely enjoy seeing this kid have success.

Glad Brady is going to start. The Browns have no future with Anderson. How good Brady does this season doesn’t matter; he’s the QB of the future.

Get a clue.
Brady isn’t starting. Unfortunately. What are you talking about?
Mevs I’ll say in his defense he sent me this article very early in the week when there was much talk about giving him a shot. I was a little busy this week and didn’t get to post this till today when it was announced different. Even so it was a good article so I decided to still post it.
What I am more concerned about is that Brady held out on his contract and finally got the deal that he wanted. And now he is riding the pine? Somewhere the logic is lost here. Where that is a blind man can see. Play him or deal him.
Totally agree Danny. It’s time to give him his chance or move him. He deserves the shot especially with that much money on the line.
