Week 2 NFL Picks

Here we are Week 2 in the NFL and the landscape has changed quite a bit. Some major injuries, some crappy teams playing surprisingly well, and some great teams playing shockingly bad. Where does it leave us? I truly don’t know since it has only been one week. My overall score for week one thou was a nice cool 10-6. So even with some shocking outcomes I’m still plus 500. The highlight of the week for me thou was nailing the New Orleans / Tampa Bay game, as I accurately predicted a 24-20 final. Let’s see if we can keep it up. Here’s the week two picks.

Yes, Buffalo is my upset pick of the week again. The Jags are heavily favored by about 6 depending who you bet with. Why are they favored so high I have no clue. Buffalo’s got a very solid team and Jax just lost over half of their offensive line. This is an easy pick in my opinion.

Almost no one is taking New England this week which I think is a major mistake. This is going to be a hard fought mostly defensive battle as both of these teams hate each other. The Patriots always find a way to win these close nail biters (minus last year’s Super Bowl of course), and I think they find a way again and send the Jets faithful home very upset.
