Baseball’s my #1, but with the NFL starting this week I’ve been pretty wrapped up in writing about that. While I’m still working on a few more football articles, I figured I have to hit up my baseball fans so here’s another edition of Fastlinks, with some good stuff I’ve read around the internet today.
Crashburn Alley – Jamie Moyer is an ageless wonder, it’s just amazing how he still has so much success with so little stuff. So what are the secrets to Jamie Moyer’s success?
Pink Hat Nation – Did you know baseball is still on TV? If you’re reading my baseball links post then obviously do. But our girls over at Pink Hat want you to know that it’s still there and there is some very compelling stuff going on.
SportsbyBrooks – Jose Canseco has made a huge profit from steroids, the taking of while playing and then the admissions of it that followed. Now thou steroids may take something from him. He’s got a street named after him and that may soon be going bye bye.
The Fightins – If you don’t follow the Philadelphia Phillies on TV, then you don’t know much about Sarge Matthews’ hats. The former slugger has a huge collection of them, and is almost always wearing a different one.
Sliding into Home – New York Yankees second baseman Robinson Cano is having a season to forget. Actually, the Yankees as a whole are. Unfortunately for him, he just signed a huge contract extension this past off-season. Some may argue it’s the contract, but Peter Abraham says it is definitely not Cano’s contract.
The Ropolitans – Just like the Yankees, the New York Mets are closing out a stadium of their own. Citi Field is supposed to be a beautiful stadium, much better then the dump they play in now. Fans have wanted one piece of that dump transferred, the home run apple. Will there be a new home run apple at Citi Field, or will the old be transferred? The question has finally been answered.
EYE CANDY TIME – ON205TH.com – She may not have anything to do with baseball. But Hayden Panettierre just keeps doing things that make her even hotter and hotter.
