Time for another edition of Fastlinks. Here’s some of the things I found interesting around the net regarding baseball.

Busted Coverage - Those who tailgate know how much fun things become once you are completely wasted. Although, sometimes do get a little violent as well, but it only adds to the fun when you get to watch others make a fool of themselves. Well, Busted Coverage has a pretty cool video of a Philadelphia Phillies tailgate that include some MMA Moves, amongst other things.

The Fightins - Last Friday, the Phillies held a 70s night, where players were dressed up in 70s clothes for a slide show to be shown during the game. Check out the video, its just too damn funny.

Gaslamp Ball - Forbes magazine is known for their annual valuations of sports teams and honestly I think its pretty cool to see what they come up with. They just came out with a new ranking that is just absurd, the worst cities to be a fan in, its based of course on how much you pay to watch them and how often they win. New York is the 3rd worst city!!! Yea, I know they’re smoking crack. Gaslamp agrees and tell you why Forbes knows nothing about sports.

Big League Stew - Yahoo’s own Jeff Passan is officially a wiener now after taking place in the Kansas City Royals Hot Dog Derby. I enjoy reading Passan’s articles, even thou half the time I think he’s off base. Regardless this is a pretty entertaining post to check out.

Epic Carnival - I’m sure you’ve all heard the story now about 9-year old Jericho Scott, the New Haven, CT boy who was told he can’t pitch because he is too good. Being from that area I have to say I’m totally ashamed but then again New Haven is a bunch of babies as is so I’m not too surprised. If you are completely disgusted by this Epic Carnival lets you know who you can contact and voice your opinion.

The Dave Burba Revolution - Cleveland Indians Grady Sizemore joined the 30/30 club on Monday, August 25th. Well the Dave Burba Revolution has obtained a copy of the acceptance letter to the club that Grady received from Barry Larkin.

NESW Sports - This was posted yesterday but I caught myself going back today to watch it again. It’s a hilarious skit from the early days of Saturday Night Live. It has to do with the New York Yankees and how they HAVE to make the playoffs, or else.

On 205th - What a surprise that tonight’s eye candy comes from our boys at on205th.com. So did you know that Jessica Simpson supports the Atlanta Braves? Well the guys have found proof that this is the case. Chicks in baseball caps, so freaking hot!
