In the spirit of Game 4 of the NBA Finals, and all the hoopla about legitimate and illegitimate foul calls, we’re going to shoot out some of our own free throws today. So here’s an NBA edition of link love, “Free Links”. With the NBA Finals in full swing, we’ve got links to an article about the Los Angeles Lakers, and then one about the Boston Celtics. The NBA Draft is coming up so let’s take a look back at the 2003 draft with another. And finally, since its such he’s doing such a good thing for the community we’ve got one about Shaq.

  • Ok, let’s just get right into the NBA Finals. It’s been the thing on every NBA fans mind the last few days. My boys over at Cuzoogle.com have an amusing article up about Laker’s star Kobe Bryant. They, like almost everyone else, feels Kobe is carrying the load (but whats new with that right?). In the article, they have a Most Wanted poster up for the rest of the Lakers team, and a poll on who you feel will step up. Go check it out and lay your vote on who helps Kobe out tonight.
  • Now time to take a look at a Boston Celtics piece. NESW Sports has a pretty funny video up “Kevin Garnett, Be Gatorade My Friend”. I’m not going to say much about it, just go watch it!
  • I did say we’d take a look at the 2003 NBA Draft. Well some of these players are starting to draw comparisons to players from the NBA’s past, and Dime Magazine takes a look at this. Go check this article out as some of it is pretty funny, and at the same time of this is just blatantly true.
  • Last but not least is Big Aristotle. Shaquille O’Neal is doing some great things for the community down in Orlando, Florida. He’s planning on buying homes from people whose houses are about to be foreclosed on, and then sell them back to those people at much lower interest rates. it’s a pretty noble thing, I’d give him even more props if he wasn’t doing this FOR PROFIT!!!
