AM Fastlinks

Hey everyone, I haven’t done one of these in a while so with it being the weekend I think it’s time to spread the love, so here’s another edition of the Fastlinks. We’ve got a few good ones today. One is about Jose Valverde and last night’s performance, another about the instant replay controversy from a different persepctive, look at the site of the 2010 All-Star game and the WBC finals, and then finally you know I have to a Yankees article in there. So let’s take a look.
- Did anyone see Jose Valverde of the Houston Astros take that line drive off his face last night? If you haven’t by now, I’m sure you’ve seen the replays by now on ESPN or You Tube by now. Here’s an article at Babes Love Baseball that has the video and talks about how crazy Valverde might be.
- One of the hot topics around the league and blog land, is Instant Replay. After a few missed home run calls the last week, almost everyone is calling for it to happen. The Outsiders Look at the Insides of Baseball (wow that was a mouthful), adds in their point of view to the debate. Take a look at it, cause it definitely brings up a few things that I’m sure a lot of people, including myself, didn’t think about.
- Major League Baseball has reportedly award the 2010 All-Star Game and the host city for the 2009 Finals of the World Baseball Classic. Head over to The Biz of Baseball to see who the lucky ones are.
- Finally, I’m a Yankees fan and I always have to include a link to the Bronx Bombers when I do these. Today, I send you to the Fast Break Blog, where they cover my two favorite teams in the world, the Yankees and the New York Giants. The article just talks about the current stretch of play, nothing big, but as a Yankees fan it is a good read.
Alright, thats it for now, I may post a second issue later on tonight if there aren’t any good rumors to speak of.
