More troubles for Koren Robinson

May 10, 2008

Trouble just seems to find its way to former Green Bay Packers wide receiver Koren Robinson. This time thou he’s not directly implicated. His brother Tariq Robinson was recently arrested for trafficking ecstasy. How does this relate Koren thou? Other then the obvious of being brothers.

Well, Koren owns the house that Tariq stays in. At the moment, investigators say they have no evidence whatsoever that Koren is involved in any capacity. Only connection is that he owns the house. WRAL.com actually reports that the two have been estranged for over a year now.

When it comes to football thou, this can’t help Koren out. He’s currently a free agent after being released by the Packers, and that stint with the Pack came after a year long supension. No matter what he says, there will be some teams that will now question can he ever shake his past. The team that signs him now might be one that is truly desperate for a wide receiver. Profootballtalk.com said that teams that have shown interested in Koren are the Kansas City Chiefs and Oakland Raiders. I’m sure the Raiders are interested no matter what.

We’ll have to wait and see on this. Hopefully this stays with just his brother and doesn’t effect Koren in anyway.
