Fast track to Boston?

Could Bartolo Colon be on the fast track to Fenway Park? The Boston Red Sox might, I repeat might, have found a no-risk, very high reward gem in this years free agent class. I’ve talked about Bartolo Colon before and said if he’s healthy this could be a very good signing for the Sox. My original thinking, was a mid-season call up to help out for a struggling rookie or an injured starter. Well you know what, Colon might be pitching before Red Sox Nation a lot sooner then anyone thought.
Today, Colon started for AAA-Pawtucket’s season opener against Indianapolis. Colon went 5 innings, only facing 16 batters giving up 1 hit. His fastball routinely hit 95 and 96 mph on the radar gun, which I think is pretty impressive for him. If this continues over his next start or two, rookie Clay Buchholz might have a quick hook on him. I’m just taking a guess here but Colon may be with the team in late-April or early-May now.
