This is an update to a post I made just a couple hours ago. So much for my thinking of Olindo Mare signing with the Denver Broncos. Mare signed a deal with the Seattle Seahawks this evening. What did come down to, money of course. Mare got a 2-year $3.5 million deal from the ‘Hawks, so this means Denver must of been outbid since he really liked their deal too. What I don’t understand is he goes from a favorable situation in Denver to a rough climate in Seattle. He’ll get plenty of opportunities in Seattle with their offense but that stadium will play games with his field goals.
Interesting signing, but wanted to post an update to the earlier story.
